Back in stock: the colourful Ulm Stool (Ulmer Hocker)!

Discover the Ulm Stool (Ulmer Hocker), an icon of design, in vibrant colours! Manufactured by wb Form in Switzerland according to the original design from 1954, this stool combines lightness, robustness and versatility. In a selection of spring colours, it is the ideal addition to any interior.

The origins of the Ulm Stool

Max Bill, the first director of the Hochschule für Gestaltung in Ulm, worked with Hans Gugelot and Paul Hildinger to develop this timeless classic, the first models of which were produced in the school’s own carpentry workshop using donated wood. Originally designed for HfG students, the Ulm stool is now used in many different applications.

The Ulm Stool is not only suitable as a seat, but also as a side table, shelving element, transport container and even as a serving tray.

Made from high-quality beech and spruce wood (crossbar and base made of beech wood, sides and seat made of spruce wood), the Ulm stool offers a solid construction.

44 x 39.5 x 29.5 cm, 2.1 kg; attractively packaged

The coloured Ulm Stool is also sold at the HfG-Archiv (Am Hochsträß 8, 89081 Ulm).
