STONE AGE DAY
Saturday 06.07,2024 11am – 5pm
At the Stone Age Day of the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Weltkultursprung at the International Danube Festival on Saturday, 6 July 2024, guests of all ages can embark on a journey back to the Ice Age. There will be a varied programme for the whole family on the Neu-Ulm riverbank from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

In the area of the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Weltkultursprung you can also find out how our ancestors lived in the time of the great mammoths, what techniques they used to work stone and ivory and what connections there were between the sites in the Swabian Alb and sites along the Danube to the Black Sea. Children can test their manual skills and take part in other hands-on activities, including whirling wood construction.
