The guided tour will be given by Dr. Martin Mäntele, Head of HfG-Archive.
Between 1953 and 1968, the Ulm School of Design established itself as one of the leading institutions for design education worldwide. The guided tour will give insights in the early years of the school in the 1950s until the final year 1968. It will also explain the term “ulm model”.
The HfG Archive / Museum presents ‘Programmed for Hope. Architectural Experimentation at the Ulm School of Design’ in collaboration with TU Darmstadt and Goethe University Frankfurt, an exhibition that focuses for the first time on the pioneering architectural teaching at the Ulm School of Design (HfG).
