International Museum Day at Natural History Museum Ulm: The Adventure of Biodiversity
The Adventure of Biodiversity
Nature is full of wonders waiting to be discovered. The adventure begins right on our doorstep. In the forest, in the meadow, in the park, and even among the city streets, there are countless fascinating animals and plants. Every species is unique in appearance and way of life. We invite you to join us in discovering, exploring, and observing this diversity, and to become aware of how fragile and precious our natural world is.
The special exhibition “Bird Art” takes you into the world and rich diversity of native birds, captured on paper over 70 years by Prof. Dr. Wilhelm Nothdurft. It also offers insight into the variety of artistic forms of representation, from pencil sketches to lifelike taxidermy specimens.
