Close your eyes, open your ears! Museum Ulm on air
What is happening behind the construction fence at Museum Ulm? While the Museum Ulm is closed to the public for renovation and refurbishment, the staff are still active behind the scenes.
But what exactly is a museum and what does the team work on from morning to night? What secrets and stories are hidden behind the thick walls of the building on the market square? We would like to tell you: From now on, every last Thursday of the month from 4-5 pm live in the programme “Plattform” on Radio free FM (in German).
The first live broadcast on Thursday, 27 June 2024 will provide insights into the museum’s work and the background to the current exhibition “al dente. Pasta & Design” in the HfG Archive Ulm. Dr Stefanie Dathe, Director of Museum Ulm, and Linus Rapp, curator of the exhibition and design historian, reveal what pasta has to do with design and which pasta is the most beautiful.
The cooperation between the Museum Ulm and Radio free FM as part of the “Plattform” series is planned to run for one year from June 2024 to June 2025.
With the “Plattform”, Radio free FM offers committed people a forum to make their concerns known to a wider circle of listeners. The station plays free radio for Ulm, Neu-Ulm and the surrounding area on FM 102.6 MHz, on cable on 97.7 MHz & 93.45 MHz and worldwide in the live stream via freefm.de – tune in!
