23 Triennale Ulmer Kunst: Museum Ulm @ kunsthalle weishaupt

The Kunstverein Ulm e.V., the BBK – Ulm e.V., the Künstlergilde Ulm e.V., and the Museum Ulm will organise the “23rd Triennale Ulmer Kunst” in the kunsthalle weishaupt as a cooperative project under the motto “Vorsicht Umbau!” (“Caution rebuild!”).

For the second time in the long history of the Triennale Ulmer Kunst, the kunsthalle weishaupt is making its premises available for the exhibition.

The motto is based on the construction work beginning in 2023 at the Museum Ulm, whose space utilisation structure will be significantly changed by the conversion of four buildings within the museum complex.

“Vorsicht Umbau!” (“Caution rebuild!”) aims to open up scope for creative imagination, to inspire the testing of new forms of expression and to awaken the desire for artistic experimentation.

Artists who were born, live or work in Ulm or Neu-Ulm, in the Alb-Donau district or in the Neu-Ulm district were invited to submit works of art and take part in the “23rd Triennale Ulmer Kunst”.
